Banditry:Hunters seek FG backings for spirtual and physical backings.

Amid raising inssecurities across the country,hunters and farmers have called on the federal government to formally empower them to flush out bandits,boko haram,insurgents and other criminal elements hiding in the forests.
The group including the Nigetian forest security service,professional hunters Association of Nigeria,Agbekoya farmers society of Nigeria insisted that they posses the spirtual ability,knowledge,traning and presence in forest to combat terriosts.
There has been a resurgence of terror attack in the country particularly in plateau and benue state.
No fewer than 51 people were killed by zikke and kakpa communities in the Bassa local government area of Plateau state two weeks after deadly clashs in other parts of the states that left many dead.
Prior to last week attack,gunmen killed at least 52 people and has displaced about 2,000 others after several days of attack on six villages in plateau.
The National Emergency Management Agency said 52 people have been confirmed dead while 22 others have been taken to the hospital.
Reacting to the incident,president Bola Tinubu issued a marching order to security agencies to tackle insecurity in the country.
Tinubu issued a complete overhaul of Nigeria's security strategy.
The National secretary of the professional hunters Association of Nigeria,Danladi perry stressed the urgent need for surveillance and patrols especially along the forest route often exploited by attackers.
The spate of killings in Benue,plateau and other northern states would have been prevented if the federal government had engaged the professional hunters,forest guards and local vigilantes to man our forest because most of the attackers routes is the bush.We need to intensify partol and surveilance he added.
The secretary of the Agbekoya farmers society of Nigeria said they have deployed the the use of spiritual means to tackle security cades in the country.
The Commander of partol and guards,Nigeria fprest security service in charge of north central Alhaji Muhammed Ahmed said this issue of insecurity will be a thing of the pass if the presidents signs the bill to legalise the opertions of the group,which included the deployment of local hunters with spirtual powers to tackle security challenges.
