FG LAUNCHES 'GREEN MONEY PROJECT ' FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT.

The Federal Government has introduced the Green Money Project, a presidential initiative launched by President Bola Tinubu to empower Nigerian youths through modern agricultural practices.
The project was inaugurated at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), with Abiodun Yinusa, Special Assistant to the President on Agriculture, describing it as a strategic move to harness Nigeria’s agricultural resources while addressing youth unemployment.
Yinusa emphasized that the initiative supports Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency on food security and seeks collaboration among stakeholders to involve more youth in agriculture.
About the Green Money Project
The Green Money Project aims to attract, train, and support young Nigerians to develop successful agribusinesses, fostering innovation, productivity, and wealth generation.
Eligibility Criteria
Age between 18 and 40 years
Nigerian citizen or permanent resident
Minimum of secondary school education
Resident in any state or the FCT
Demonstrated interest in agriculture
Commitment to training and workshops
Basic tech literacy
Must possess valid government-issued ID
Must not have benefited from similar past government agricultural programs
